Parkhome Community is a platform designed to connect residential park home owners, buyers, and industry suppliers across the UK. We provide a digital venue for listings, community forums, and related resources. We are not an estate agency, property developer, or legal advisory service.
3. User Accounts and Registration
- You must be at least 18 years of age to register for an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in malicious behaviour.
4. Property and Supplier Listings
- The Platform as a Venue: Parkhome Community acts solely as an advertising venue. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee the condition, legal status, or availability of any property or service listed on the site.
- Accuracy of Information: Sellers and suppliers are entirely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including dimensions, park rules (e.g., pet-friendly, over-50s only), and pricing.
- Transactions: Any transaction, viewing, or agreement made between a buyer and a seller, or a user and a supplier, is strictly between those two parties. Parkhome Community accepts no liability for disputes, financial losses, or damages arising from these interactions.
5. Payments and Subscriptions
- Premium listings (such as property advertisements) are subject to a subscription fee (e.g., £9.99/month) processed securely via our third-party payment provider, Stripe.
- Subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled by the user via their account dashboard.
- Users may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months used.
6. User-Generated Content (Forums, Chat, and Media)
When participating in the Resident's Forum, Community Chat, or uploading photos to the Model Archive:
- You retain ownership of your content, but grant Parkhome Community a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform.
- You agree not to post content that is defamatory, offensive, illegal, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
- We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any content at our sole discretion without prior notice.
7. Intellectual Property
All original content, logos, site design, and structural code on Parkhome Community are the property of the site administrators. You may not extract, reproduce, or scrape data (including property and supplier listings) for commercial purposes without explicit written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Parkhome Community and its administrators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the site, or from any content posted by third parties.
