For those who have already made the move, what is the one thing you wish you knew before downsizing from a bricks-and-mortar house to a park home?
Downsizing to a park home: What is your biggest piece of advice?
I think the biggest shock for a lot of people is raelising just how much 'stuff' you accumulate in a traditional house that you simply don't need. The ruthless decluttering phase must be incredibly difficult. Did anyone here use a specific method to decide what to keep and what to charity-shop?
We used the 'four-box' method: Keep, Donate, Sell, and Bin. It took weeks, but honestly, once we finally moved in, we realised we still brought far too much! My absolute best advice is to take a tape measure to your new park home's cupboards before you pack a single box. The storage is clever, but it is much shallower than a standard house.
