The History of Walker Brothers

Walker Brothers, based in Carlisle, Cumbria, is a family-run business with roots in the construction and timber frame industry dating back to 1986. In 2003, they transitioned their master craftsmanship into manufacturing luxury bespoke park homes and lodges, recently celebrating the completion of their 300th home.

As a purely bespoke manufacturer, Walker Brothers operates without standard floorplans or a set price list. Every home is a blank canvas, allowing buyers complete freedom over the footprint, room layouts, exterior cladding (including composite and timber shiplap), and premium interior finishes. Their BS 3632-compliant homes frequently feature high-end additions such as full wet-system underfloor heating, custom media walls, and vaulted ceilings. With all construction handled by CSCS-carded craftsmen and NICEIC-registered professionals, Walker Brothers provides a seamless, tailored journey from the first sketch to the final delivery.
